Nashville Photo Diary - feat. GUESS

-shop my looks-

Howdy everyone! Today on IAG we've got a fun editorial and diary from #NASHVILLE I'm so excited to share with you. I got in touch with my inner-cowboy and teamed up with GUESS to feature some denim, accessories and the awesome culture of Nashville itself which inspired the new Guess collection.

here's a breakdown of NASHVILLE and where I recommend you visit!

WHAT TO SEE:
1. Johnny Cash Museum- Everything to do with the man himself including original outfits, memorabilia and personal items, awards, videos and of course his instruments! It's rated a 4.5 out of 5 on tripadvisor so it's definitely a must-see attraction. I was lucky enough to have dinner there all thanks to the GUESS team!

2. The Grand Ole Opry- One of the most Exclusive country venues on the planet, you can only be invited! We got to see the dressing rooms that celebrities use before and after the shows (all decorated depending on what kind of person or band you are) we also got to see the mailboxes where the stars receive mail still to this day! The smaller studios in the back are also used as television sets and several productions have been filmed there such as the hit show "Nashville" starring Hayden Panettiere and Connie Britton.

WHAT TO TASTE:
1. Barista Parlor- A modern take on southern comfort food. Indulge in waffles drenched in blueberries, traditional biscuits and gravy, or a fruit parfait served in a mason jar. What more could you need?

2. Jeni's Ice Cream- Be prepared for a long line but it's well worth it- Everyone wants to taste the unique flavors! When I went I got two scoops of their "Brambleberry" and being a berry enthusiast.. I was not disappointed. They offer the traditional/favorite flavors but also monthly ones if those who have an open mind and palette. I recommend Jenny's to anyone passing through Nashville.

OTHER TIPS:
Nashville is on the smaller side so an ideal trip would be about 3 days! I stayed at the Aloft Hotel which was more than accommodating with a very friendly staff (Also a great breakfast place across the street, the name is slipping my mind but they'll know!)

  6. Yes! I love Guess, one of my favorite brands. Everything is blended beautifully in all the mosaics of blues and jean colors paired perfectly with your Nala eyes full fledged and out in tow. Nashville feels quite quaint, who knew all the culture thats there. It's its own lil secret haven, looks so much fun and spectacular!

Here's the video of the campaign I found too for those that are interested:

  8. LOVE that you got to visit Nashville. I grew up there, and it'll always be one of my favorite places. The ice cream place you mentioned is INCREDIBLE. I usually get Brambleberry Crisp and Brown Butter Almond Brittle. HOWEVER, the name of it is Jeni's [Splendid] Ice Cream (not Jenny's). Sorry to be a stickler, but people aren't going to find it in East Nashville if they're looking for a Jenny!

  9. Love that Nashville is getting some attention. Such a wonderful place! And if people try to search for the ice cream, it's actually spelled Jeni's. One of my favorites! Brambleberry rules.
