the action of forbidding something, esp. by law
quick hello from San Francisco! My first shoot location was a no brainer, it had to be against the world famous Golden Gate Bridge. If you're not familiar with this bridge, it's the one that gets destroyed in all the action movies, duh. I wanted to capture a very nostalgic, 20s-30s pageboy vibe and I was able to do so with my new Ted Baker items! The burgundy cap, plaid blazer, burgundy sweater atop the fine detailed shirt are all Ted Baker London. I text the first picture to my mother and she replied "you look like you fell right out of the prohibition era!" and that's how the title came to be!

big thankyou to LARRY our fearless taxi cab driver who barreled through the Presidio to get us to this fine ass location.
and another BIG BIG thankyou to Bryn Newman and Rob Shanz who photographed this set. Check out his stuff here

Classy! I love the juxtaposition between the modern setting with your choice of featuring the reminiscences of period pieces. I feel like your making a statement on archaic practices that are still institutionalized to this day - with the added flair of wearing beautiful clothes of course. Times may change, but style remains the same; always ever-evolving.
ReplyDeletethis look is simply perfect man!
