Shoe: DUNE
Love this sleek, dark tipped formal DUNE shoe. With autumn and winter approaching it is only necessary to have at least one pair of a rich colored oxford. In terms of styling I would pair it with a dark blue skinny suit, white shirt, possibly a leather briefcase that emulates the color of these, and Ray Ban aviators for some attitude. I would like to stress the fact that certain types of trousers may not be adequate for a 'pointer' shoe such as this...when wearing an oxford with a less-round tip, in my opinion, it's more beneficial to sport a skinnier trouser to achieve the sleek look all the way down to your toes!

Shoe: Cagney Formal Oxford
I call this...The Dark Knight! They're saying it's all about brown this season but we all know that having one pair of black oxfords is crucial and a rule of thumb despite what the trends say. This shoe would go great with a grey 3-piece suit, white shirt underneath the grey vest, black Michael Kors watch, an black ombre DITA shades. Making a statement would be easy! oh and slick back that hair!
Shoe: Roland Cartier
Will the whimsical and quirky personalities please stand up? These shoes are for you! Between the dandy detailing, and the vibrant yet classic hue, it would sure as hell make any hipster, DIPSTER (Dapper hipster...just go along with it) Here you have more free will when styling...A dark pair of denim with a cable knit on top would definitely suffice for the fall.
You can only skimp on shoes for so long people! Each season it's good to treat yourself to atleast one new pair. I've learned that the hard way. Give House of Fraser a look for more shoe possibilities!

ReplyDeleteHey Adam! I found this SO useful and helpful! Must seem strange considering I'm a girl and all but I work in the menswear department for Zara (I read that you did too?), so I get constantly bombarded with questions (not that I'm complaining, if you know what I mean) as to what to pair with this and that ..
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say that I without fail find your blog helpful and inspirational, especially when it comes to the last minute ZARA guystomers (get it?). I like the new blog layout and you have good vocabulary! Keep it up!!
