HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

This is my DIY costume of 2011. 

from top to bottom:

1)the hair- I'm so proud of my self for this. originally it was long black and straight, but i put the wig on my 10 year old brother and pretended as if i was a hair stylist, he was the client and we cut the hell out of it! then with a little help of some aerosol hairspray and putty, i got it where it needed to be! maybe i should do hair? ;] 

2)makeup- I sat in my bathroom for one hour...repeat ONE HOUR with my iphone displaying a picture of Johnny Depp from the movie and applied my makeup accordingly. it was very frustrating cause i didn't have a sponge so i use cloth which didn't spread easily but i guess Edward's face wasn't perfection so i got away with it. I added some "cuts" and black lips

3)the vest- so i was pretty hopeless when it came to the vest. I couldnt find enough metal materials to glue on a black turtle neck and frankly I thought it started looking like shit. sooooo i kind of cheated and ordered a vest from a scissorhands outfit previously...mind you, they only had large and the arms didnt fit quite right so i had to make some alterations for size.

4)scissorhands- simple. gray/black gloves, glue and foam cut outs!

5)pants- black pants recently purchased from active skate shop, i then took 3 distressed belts from my parents wardrobe and wrapped them all down my leg. yes, i know what your thinking, did it cut off circulation? a little! but endured the pain for fashion..halloween fashion that is 

6)black boots-purchased at urban outfitters!

all you ghouls and goblins have a safe night! serious! dont eat weird lookin candy!
